On October 29 at the historic Orinda Theater, the City of Orinda will host Safe at Scale, a regional convening to discuss these important questions and what we have learned from the LA wildfires that can help us all.

While many of us want to keep our homes safer from wildfire - which includes removing mulch from within five feet of our homes - the benefits of mulch are undeniable.  It helps keep the soil moister and the weeds down.
